Welcome to the 2016-17 school year here in Room C1, third grade at Crossroads Elementary School! I'm Justin Dolci, and I will be co-leading you through the third grade year ahead. I say co-leading because you, your classmates, your families, and the entire Crossroads community will be leading as well. We will all share in this role.
While this year is my first full year at Crossroads, the 2016-2017 school year is my 19th in education, Before moving to Kentucky last year, I taught in Jackson, New Jersey. Most recently, I taught seven years of 5th grade ELA. Before that, I taught 2nd thru 4th and spent a year as a technology teacher. In addition to classroom teaching, I also provide professional learning workshops for teachers, write an education blog (2TLMShine.com) with my friend Ms. Susie Rolander, and am currently working on co-writing my first professional book for teachers!
I am so thankful for the warm welcome and southern hospitality I've received since I joined the Crossroads Community in March 2016! I am super eager to continue to learn with all of you!
